GitHub repositories

The GitHub repositories you connect, synced with their issues and pull requests.

A GitHub repository record is a repository you connected, kept in sync with GitHub. It holds the repository's issues and pull requests.

How it works

To bring in your repositories, connect GitHub:

  1. In Settings › Connections, click Connect and choose GitHub. You sign in through the Continual GitHub App. To include a GitHub organization's repositories, install the app on it.
  2. Continual finds every repository that both you and the app can read, and checks for new ones every 15 minutes.
  3. Each repository syncs its issues and pull requests every 5 minutes, with a full sync once a day.

The sync is one way: GitHub stays the source. In Continual you set only a repository's Maintainer; the sync sets everything else. Everyone in your organization can read the synced repositories.

Object: changes freely, and its history keeps the old values.
