# Posts and the Feed > Everything people and Continual write is a post: messages in threads, comments on records, reactions, and the stories Continual writes for the Feed. A **post** is anything a person or Continual writes for others to read. A comment is shared with everyone who can see the record. Emails synced from Gmail are records of the Inbox app, not posts. ## Reactions You can react to a message or a comment with any emoji. Each reaction is its own small record, one per person per post, and like a post, only its author can take it back. Continual notes your reactions to its messages the next time it works. ## The Feed **Coming.** The **Feed** is where you keep up with the business. Continual writes it: a ranked stream of stories about what changed and what matters, each about the records it concerns, and it ends when you are caught up. People never post to the Feed. A comment on a story goes to the record the story is about, where the team can see it.
